WEEK3
This past Friday, me and my colleagues Abdulaziz Shamsaldin, Faisal AlJumeeli, Essa AlBalooshi, and Khaled AlShabibi went for a walk in St Stephen’s Green. It was mostly sunny at the time with a cold breeze blowing against our skin every few minutes. As we walked around the park, we took the time to learn a little more about each other, and hold conversations about how our lives have developed after the past semester in RCSI. Our walk in the park was overall positive, and was an enjoyable experience that has helped us relax as our minds were distracted from our busy and stressful college lifestyle. The fresh air and sunny skies motivated us to stay a little longer and the majority of us felt like repeating this experience once again at a later time. Although exams are still a few weeks from now, our walk played a significant role in relieving some of the built up stress from our lifestyle and general study routines. Furthermore, this experience has helped us overcome some of the barriers between us as group members, and has helped us express our personalities in front of one another, further deepening our bonds. The beautiful sights of St Stephen’s Green like the pond shimmering in the sunlight, and the swans swimming cheerfully in the pond have helped motivate us to study and work even harder in preparation for our exams in the upcoming few weeks.
