WEEK4
Coronavirus (covid-19) is a virus that attack the respiratory track and has a similar symptoms and signs to influenza. The virus can spread rapidly through sneezing or any contact with infected body’s fluid. Like saliva, and sneezing. It is first emerged in china then quickly widespread in the rest of the country and since china exports many industrial goods it spread to other countries very fast. Also, china population is very big and many Chinese people travel abroad or study outside and since it was Christmas many Chinese where in china and may got infected before returning after the winter break and helped in spreading the epidemic to the world. People now are very anxious about the virus because they are not enlightened enough about the subject and that caused the miss consumption about the virus and give it a huge attention more than it is actually needs since now the rate of people who are cured are more than the rate of people died because of it. Moreover, the media in general did not helped in containing the epidemic. The media and the social media only talks about the rate of the infection and how many people have passed away because of it ignoring the numbers that talks about people who have been cured. Furthermore, some people did not take the virus problem seriously. Some of them sneezed and spitted in place that are continuously touched by other people such as elevators, door handles. People also sneeze covering their mouth with their hands then handshake people without washing their hands. Overall, coronavirus spread very quickly but are not deadly it may be dangerous for very young kids and elder people over 80 years old and people are not enlightened enough about the problem so there are a social anxiety about this problem in the world.
